P.E

We have a wide range of physical activities that take place here at Colvestone, ranging from common popular sports such as football and tennis to more obscure sporting activities such as taekwondo and boxing.

At Colvestone we encourage Physical Education which facilitates children to develop the understanding, technical skills and sporting knowledge so that they are able to show an increasing proficiency and confidence in a wide variety of physical activities. We have a wide range of physical activities that take place here at Colvestone, ranging from common popular sports such as football and tennis to more obscure sporting activities such as taekwondo and boxing.

The P.E. Curriculum at Colvestone aims to inspire all pupils to excel in competitive sporting environments and other physical-demanding activities. It allows the children to gain an understanding of their bodies in action, along with the ability to think, select and apply the skills they have learnt throughout the year. In addition to this, it promotes positive attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle. We provide many opportunities for our pupils to compete against other schools in a variety of tournaments during the academic year which builds character and help practice the Colvestone values such as fairness and respect.
