This term RE is a focus across the school and we are using it to makes links with our whole school theme.

This is to continue promoting the diversity of cultures and religions that we celebrate in Colvestone. We follow the agreed Hackney Syllabus and use this as a tool to support planning. Children are encouraged to share their ideas, opinions and experiences across the curriculum.

Each class has a specific RE focus which changes every half term. This enables children to learn about and from a range of religions. We help children to recognise the difference between right and wrong, through the study of moral and ethical questions. We enhance their social development by helping them to build a sense of identity in a multicultural society.
