28 Oct School Update

Dear Parents/Carers,

It is with great regret that school will be closed Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th October due to a gas leak.
Currently, gas engineers are working outside the school to restore the main gas supply to the building (see photographs below).  Once this is complete, engineers will then restore gas, heating and hot water to the school itself.
Obviously checks need to be competed to ensure the school is absolutely safe for adults and children.
We expect school to be open from Thursday 31st October.  If there is any change to this plan, we will of course inform you by text.
Colvestone staff will be working at our partner school Thomas Fairchild for these three days.  If you require any further information or updates, please call their school number on: 020 7253 9469 and a member of our senior leadership team will be able to speak to you.
You will appreciate how sorry we are for the inconvenience this has caused to you and your family.  Please be assured we are doing everything possible to ensure this problem is rectified as quickly and safely as possible.
Thank you for your on-going support.
