20 Jan Message from Miss King
Dear parents and carers
We hope you are all keeping well despite us still being deep in the lockdown situation.
It was with regret this week that we had to close school for our vulnerable and key worker children as we had four staff members test positive for Covid. Needless to say our ongoing thoughts are with our sick colleagues and I know the school community with be with them in positive spirit too.
We do not envisage that this will cause any disruption to your child’s remote learning experience but do need to inform you that at least until Monday 25th January we will be managing the school remotely. Calls to the school office will be diverted to a member of the team and you will be updated as to when this happens, which I expect will be at some point in the day tomorrow.
Please direct any initial queries regarding online learning to your child’s class teacher in your daily session. Next week you can look forward to some break out sessions and more ‘How to’ videos appearing online.
We will of course keep you informed of this ever changing situation at Colvestone but more importantly look forward to an announcement that let’s us know when we can welcome back children and families.
Stay safe all
Warm wishes
Miss King
